Checked Baggage

The checked baggage allowance varies depending on your ticket type. To find out exactly what baggage allowance applies to your trip please go to My bookings or check your ticket.

• Flex: 1 item, maximum 15 kg
• Light: 1 item, maximum 15 kg

• Flex: 1 item, maximum 20 kg

Size and Weight Limitations

• The maximum weight of any checked bag is 32 kg.
• The maximum size of any piece of checked baggage is 158 cm (length + width + height).
• Stroller/pram as checked baggage may have a maximum weight of 15 kg.
  
  

Heavy Checked Baggage Fee

If your checked baggage exceeds the permitted weight allowance, you will be charged a flat rate fee:

The fee applies per bag and direction. Please note that the maximum allowed weight for one piece of baggage is 32 kg.

Packing Instructions

It is important that you always pack and keep close attention to your baggage until it is checked in at the airport.

• Mark your bag with name, address and phone number.
• The checked baggage must be packed in a way that it not harmed during normal baggage handling. If your baggage contains liquids and/or food that leaks and contaminates other baggage you might be liable for compensation and NyxAir will not reimburse/cover such costs.
• If you wish to check in any special items such as baby stroller, child car seat, sports equipment, music instruments or any other fragile items, we strongly recommend that you use a hard shell case to avoid any damage to your baggage. Please read more under Special Baggage.
• Do not pack medication, important documents, valuable items or cash in your checked luggage and never carry unidentified luggage for other people. NyxAir doesn’t cover any costs for loss, delay and/or damage if there are these type of items in the checked baggage. For more info please see our general terms and conditions.
  
  

Infants

If you are travelling with an infant (0-24 months) you can check in one extra bag (max 10 kg), one foldable stroller and one car seat without any extra cost. For more info please see Special Baggage.

Valuable Items

If a checked baggage is damaged, delayed or lost during transport with NyxAir, we are our responsibility is limited to 1131 SDR (Special Drawing Rights). Normal terms & conditions for you baggage applies.
